Type 1: Thermoformed fiber thin-walled

Manufactured uses “Cure-In-The-Mold” modern technology which produces well defined, the products surface appearance is one side is pretty smooth, the other is with grid texture, the wall thickness ranges from 0.7mm to 1.2mm,we called it wet pressing in molded pulp industry. products such as molded pulp trays for cellphone/mobilephone, molded fiber trays for cosmetic products, paper pulp trays for wine bottle packaging.

Type 2:Transfer Molded Thin-walled

Transfer molded products means after formed then transfer under the sun to dry, which is widely used today. The products surface feature is one side smooth but no so smooth as type1,the other side is rough, the wall thickness ranges from 1.5mm to 3.0mm,products main used for electronics, household, hardware, wine shipper, egg cartons, cup carrier, fruit trays, medical care like bedpan liners, urinal etc. it belongs to dry pressing.

Type 3: Thick-walled

Manufactured with a single tooling, thick-walled is also commonly referred to as ”Slush mold”, its products surfaces one side moderately smooth, the other side is very rough, using like cardboard, corrugated pulp, newspaper inexpensive material. The wall thickness ranges from 2.5mm to 6.0mm,products be used for edge protector, large home appliances and other heavy packaging protections.

Type 4: Processed

This type of molded pulp packaging not so widely as previous 3types,it manufactured with a secondary or specific treatment process, secondary processing can be green printing, hot pressing, coating, trimming or make color by adding special slurry additives to custom color.
